I've got a sliding patio screen door that doesn't slide right, so I have
been trying to adjust it.  I've been chasing my tail for 2 days now and am
seeking advice.
The door has 4 adjusting screws, one for each roller.  Two on the top and
Skylink Wireless Alarm Systems28 Jul 2008 05:30 GMT1

looking for options/opinions.
I saw this system and thought it would work nicely with a few
additions (more window/door modules, extra keychain)

Tankless water heater28 Jul 2008 01:39 GMT22
I'm looking for opinions/advice on these.  I've just purchased a house and
the current hot water boiler is in the closet in the child's room on the
second floor.  Aside from the fact that this renders her closet practically
useless for hanging clothes, I'm concerned that if it ...

How much money to get driveway coated?27 Jul 2008 23:50 GMT1
Looking for a good excuse to be lazy here- a couple of my neighbors have
just redone theirs DIY, and are making me feel guilty about the state of
mine. 20x60, with maybe 50?feet of wide cracks needing sealing before
the 'paint' goes on. Strolled through BorgA and BorgB looking at ...
Ends Of Outside Wood:  Coating A Good Idea ?27 Jul 2008 23:14 GMT8
Contractor used some good size wooden beams to span an outside Deck to help
support it.
Wood was the "Outdoor" type, so all O.K. there.
But, the ends where it was trimmed to look good are of course bare.
Evaporative Cooler putting too much humidity into my house27 Jul 2008 22:53 GMT36
Title says it.  I live in CO and have a ductless home.  It's heated
through hot water heat/radiators.  Problem with my swamp cooler is
that it's getting my indoor humidity up to 70% or more which is much
higher than the outside RH.  Will opening more windows help the
Plastic as a vapor barrier attic insulation27 Jul 2008 21:52 GMT4
I am about to install some batt insulation in an old ceiling where the joist
placement must have been determined by the number of remaining boards on the
job site. Meaning absolutely nothing is 16" CC.
I am going to use unfaced batts as they are much easier to trim to fit.
Bagster?27 Jul 2008 21:34 GMT33
Has anybody tried this? It seems like it solves a very common problem
for DIYers - How to get rid of relatively small loads of construction
debris.
I've rented dumpsters in the past, but between the cost, and the fact

cement board to replace 2nd layer of plywood27 Jul 2008 20:31 GMT2
After removing the wall on the jacuzzi, I have a better idea of what
the floor is really composed of.  It looks like there is a 12/16" or
13/16" plywood over the joists, then there is 8/16" or 9/16" plywood
over the first layer.
GFCI trips when I turn on one light, but not the other27 Jul 2008 18:52 GMT6
I have a GFCI outlet installed in one room, and it shares the circuit
with two other outlets and two closet lights.  Both closet lights have
the same kind of fixture and use the same kind of CF bulbs.
When I switch on one of the closet lights, the GFCI trips and power is
