| Oddball garden hose problem | 06 Jul 2008 00:28 GMT | 13 |
I have a garden hose that was badly leaking, right in the middle of the hose. I cut the hose and installed one of those cheap plastic yellow splicers. That was pretty much a waste of two dollars, because those plastic clamps with two screws just dont tighten well enough.

| Getting Rid of Carpenter Bees | 05 Jul 2008 12:09 GMT | 9 |
I occasionally see carpenter bees around my deck and swingset. They've made a couple of holes but nothing outrageous. Someone told me that if I paint the wood, the bees won't want to attack the painted surfaces.

| insulation anchor | 04 Jul 2008 23:05 GMT | 2 |
Where can I find insulation anchors ? I went to HomeDepot, but no one knew what I was talking about. I have seen simple anchors that adhere to the wall and have a post to stick insulation on with a back to slide over the post holding the insulation in place.
