How are new Aluminum Seamless gutters attached?14 Jul 2008 22:33 GMT6
How are new Aluminum Seamless gutters attached?
Does the nail go vertically through the top piece of the gutter that sits
under the paper and shingles?  Or does the nail go horizontally through the
inside gutter into the rafter.  Or can they attach either way?
How to decommission septic tank14 Jul 2008 19:58 GMT3
My house has been connected to the sewer for many years. I would like to
put an above ground pool in the back yard, but there is an old septic
tank there and I'm concerned that it could collapse under the weight.
What is the proper way to decommission the tank and about how much ...
Cutting Marble with a Skilsaw?14 Jul 2008 19:53 GMT5
Has anyone used a Skilsaw to cut Marble?
Have a Risso Wetsaw but someone stole the sliding table.
Only have ~20 cuts and 150.00 for a new table seems ridiculous.

Electrified Garage door14 Jul 2008 19:04 GMT14
Help! My garage door has become electrified. Touching the door is just
like touching a live wire. I have no idea how this is even possible,
especially considering the opener still works. The garage door opener
plugs into an outlet on the cieling of the garage. I have tried
Whole house phoneline surge protection14 Jul 2008 18:12 GMT83
Every summer I lose at least one modem from lightning (on dialup).  I
try to shut off the computer during storms, but then I can not view

Pantry - Built In Suggestions???!!!???!!!???14 Jul 2008 17:45 GMT12
We're about to start installing new kitchen cabinets and at one end on
one wall we're going to be building a built-in pantry, about 38" wide
and 28" deep, framed in with sheet rock walls as part of the kitchen
itself.  I know there are a bazillion different way to do the shelves,
Bookcase headboard14 Jul 2008 16:26 GMT11
After hunting for a decent bookcase headboard, I decided to build my
own. The decent ones (I found) were  expensive.
I was able to do a decent job given I only used a router, a circular saw
and a drill. I've still got some finishing touches to put on it.

I am new to google and generators so please bear with me.

a remote camp when all of a sudden the motor continued to run but
power to the shop vac stopped.  I let it sit for awhile and while the

I have a brick house and need to repair some mortar around the windows
