closed dryer heat exchanger?01 Apr 2008 20:56 GMT15
I have been looking for something that probably doesn't exist for
reasons I don't know.
I am trying to find out if there is such a thing as a heat exchanger
for a dryer that would attach like a humidifier to a furnace?

Coping vs. Mitering Crown Molding01 Apr 2008 18:25 GMT3
I have always coped inside corners in crown molding.  It's the way I was
taught, and it's the way the books say, and it's the way it's been done in
all the old houses I've worked on.  However, after all these years, I'm still
not sure why it's better to make a coped joint instead ...

I've been looking to replace my cast iron 10" miter saw before I

relief going into motor housing is half broken (probably from using at
10 below zero), doesn't cut 45 degree bevel 90 degrees perpendicular.
Vent covers in finished basement01 Apr 2008 14:37 GMT6
My vent covers keep falling to the ground in my newly finished
basement.  I don't want to use screws to hold them up as it will put a
hole in the vent cover and a hold in the gyprock.   Any other idea on
how to hold them into place without putting holes in the vents ?
Aligning Riding LawnMower Blades01 Apr 2008 14:17 GMT8
Is there a special way that multiple mower blades should be re-
installed after changing? I was talking to a neighbor the other day
about my grass cutting woes and he said that there were instructions
on the 'net but I cant find them. I get a hump in the middle of my cut

Adhesive Recommendation01 Apr 2008 03:24 GMT7
The cheap laminate on the counters in our trailer is falling off again.
Any advice for what adhesive to use to hold this stuff down?  It is mainly

I have a 5 yr. old Insinkerator (Badger5) garbage disposal.  It still
turns - but doesn't grind up anything.  Is this about the average age
of a garbage disposal?  I will go shopping for one in the next few
days and would like to know whether to get another one like this or
