Hello, I have a residence with a deep water well. This well is
exactly
200' deep and water is at around the 175' level. The pump is located
about 4' off of the bottom with approximately 20' of water above it.
Pitfalls to avoid?  Brick BBQ rebuild07 Apr 2008 13:55 GMT2
I'd appreciate any tips or good web sites to check on this.
Situation is the built in brick BBQ in the backyard has sunk in at the
center.  Most likely was sand filled with fireplace bricking over the center
and that center has now leeched down. Also some of the bricking along the ...

So, I had an old heater/air conditioner for the 27 yr old home and
just had it replaced with a new unit.  So, I just noticed a puddle
forming on the concrete over the past few months in the same area
where the air conditioner pumps out water.  Anyway, the air

Roofing Question07 Apr 2008 11:51 GMT29
My wife got a quote to replace our roof. Since I haven't spoken to the
guy yet, I've got question about one thing he quoted:
"Additional cost of $45/sheet for 1/2" plywood."
I have 3/4" tongue & groove under the shingles, not plywood. He didn't
Where to buy a 90 degree Drill Bit07 Apr 2008 07:17 GMT13
I'm doing some maintenance on my electrical system.  I purchased a
special L90 box, which is required by code to install a foundation
level outlet.  I went to an electrical supply store to purchase this
box.  The clerk told me that I must purchase a 90 degree drill bit,

Then, right next to it, exactly the same label, but also had "Ceiling Paint"

Framing nailer07 Apr 2008 02:33 GMT9
I need to buy a framing nailer.  I see the cordless Paslode models can fire
a lot of nails between having to replace energy cells and recharging the
battery, so am tempted to go for one of those.  It will only be used on my
house, for example framing out my basement and other ...

Continual cleaning v/s Self Cleaning oven  Which is better?07 Apr 2008 02:05 GMT10
I use to have a Self Cleaning oven and I have to say I was very happy
with it.  I would put it on the Auto Clean cycle and except for having
to replace the Lock once, it worked great.  I don't recall it ever
failing to clean up a mess.  I wouldn't do anything  except use the
