Took a can of Rust Oleum white spray paint out side. Quick spray job. I'm shaking the can as I walk outdoors. Got about half a second of spray from the can, and the spray stops. Nearly new can. What's with that? Do they do that on purpose? I did shake the can like it

My kitchen faucet does the drip, drip drip thing. I shut off the water at the cold water shutoff, remove the stem from the hot water valve at the kitchen sink and see one, two or three tiny grains of sand, flaked iron, who knows what it is, but it's very tiny.

When joining PVC pipes in the past, I have sanded them, primed them and then cemented them. Is it really necessary to sand the surfaces to be joined? Is the primer enough? Thanks
