I am putting lights in my basement and would like a wiring diagram
that shows how to connect six electrical outlets that stretch from one
end of the basement to the other, with a three-way switch on either
end of the circuit.  The power comes in to the circuit in the middle

how do you suggest cutting a round hole in existing ceramic floor     tile23 Apr 2008 14:49 GMT12
I'm in need of a six inch round hole in ceramic floor tile for a cook
top vent system. It is under a cabinet so neatness or exactness is not
critical. I only have one to do so would rather not invest a lot into
it.
squirrels in car23 Apr 2008 14:10 GMT15
Last night I found acorn shells in the car, above the glove box.  I opened
the hood and found a lot more shells in the engine compartment.
There are lots of squirrels in the neighborhood so I'm pretty sure they are
getting in the car at night-the car is not in the driveway during ...

Clogged spray paint cans23 Apr 2008 03:54 GMT25
Took a can of Rust Oleum white spray paint out side. Quick spray job. I'm
shaking the can as I walk outdoors.  Got about half a second of spray from
the can, and the spray stops. Nearly new can.
What's with that? Do they do that on purpose? I did shake the can like it
Can the Rug Doctor be used to clean... rugs?23 Apr 2008 02:55 GMT4
As opposed to carpets?
The basic process must be the same, but I wonder how much trouble is
caused by the fact that a rug is not fixed to the floor.
Does anyone have experience with this?
Vexing plumbing problem23 Apr 2008 02:44 GMT22
My kitchen faucet does the drip, drip drip thing.
I shut off the water at the cold water shutoff, remove the stem from the
hot water valve at the kitchen sink and see one, two or three tiny
grains of sand, flaked iron, who knows what it is, but it's very tiny.
Do you like "warm" lights or "cool" new ones?23 Apr 2008 01:44 GMT9
I have to make some decisions about lighting the lobby of a six-flat
building, stairwell, hallways, back porches, as well as a security
light for the yard.
The basic decision is: do we go with old fashioned warm yellowish
PVC Pipe question23 Apr 2008 00:36 GMT15
When joining PVC pipes in the past, I have sanded them, primed them and then
cemented them. Is it really necessary to sand the surfaces to be joined? Is
the primer enough?
Thanks
