Plumbing - ABS to PVC01 May 2008 00:34 GMT1
As a reminder, plumbing is not my strongpoint but I do it pretty much
without leaks pretty much first shot lately.
Anyway, Under a sink, black (ABS?) to white (PVC) seems to be a no-no. From
what I take, it's the gluing that is the issue. Actually I hear Oatey makes
Peel and stick tile directly over hardwood30 Apr 2008 23:07 GMT3

difficult.

Malibu low voltage lights - glass needs cleaning30 Apr 2008 21:25 GMT1
Hi, I have a number of Malibu metal low voltage lights in my yard. I
have noticed that the glass surface has a layer of film on it that
looks like hard water scales. The light output is dimmer because of
this film on the glass.
3 device mud ring for a 5 gang box30 Apr 2008 20:39 GMT3
Does this exist?
I searched and couldn't find one.
My electrician needs to run six pipes into a box but there are only three
devices.  So I figured I can get a 5 gang box but is it possible to get a
Textured Concrete floor redo30 Apr 2008 17:20 GMT7
We bought a house that has a textured concrete floor.  As I understand it,
they use soft cement, and put a sheet of vinyl over it, and do things to
make it come out looking like natural stone.  Then stain and seal.
Fast forward to today.  Walls removed, and no stain on concrete.  ...
Booster pump station - National Electrical Code 200830 Apr 2008 17:18 GMT1
i am going to give a brief 15-20 minutes presentation on the following topic.
Electrical is not my background but I decide to take the challenge:
1.    Assume that you are lecturing in a 16-week class and the students have
received instruction on the interpretation of the Booster Pump ...
Briggs & Stratton Engine Problem30 Apr 2008 16:29 GMT66
I have a leaf blower that uses a 5 hp B&S "L" head engine.  The carb
is pretty simple with a choke butterfly, throttle butterfly, and
rubber diaphragm fuel pump.  The carb sits on top of the fule tank.
The carb has no bowl.  The governor linakges are clean and the
manual brad nail gun?30 Apr 2008 15:34 GMT14
I have about 20 feet of wall trims I need to attach to the wall. Buying an
air compressor and an air nailer seems overkill. At first I consider an
electric brad nailer. They receive so-so reviews; the best one requires the
operator to firmly hold down the nailer so the nailing ...
Can anyone Identify this?30 Apr 2008 11:58 GMT20
We found this thing in our house when we moved in 20 years ago and don't
know what it is.
Its made out of some sort of cast stone and weighs about 60 pounds.
Here an album of pics.
Closet Doors30 Apr 2008 08:26 GMT8
I have a closet door that is 81 inches high and 49 inches across
(these measurements are without the jam that is 3/4" thick).  With the
jam, the total length across is only 47.5 inches and the standard door
in Home Depot is 24" across (or 48" with 2 doors).  Does anyone have
Exhaust pipe in chimney vent30 Apr 2008 06:54 GMT4
Instead through wall, thinking to put the exhaust piping of Air-
Conditioner (http://www.ebuyer.com/product/128101)  in the chimney
vent.
My flat is on the ground floor with two more floors above me.
Source for RO pressure tank30 Apr 2008 06:27 GMT2
I've got a 5 year old 5 stage RO system.  I'd like to start using RO
water to make beer but the 3.2 gallon tank takes two days to deliver
the 5 gallons of purified water necessary for a single batch of beer.
That's assuming I don't try to make a pitcher of iced tea while I'm
