Digital TV05 Feb 2008 16:05 GMT24
Just bought a cheap 20" Tube TV for our Kitchen. This unit has a digital
tuner built in. We have cable . My question is since the cable box converts
the digital signal to analog am I missing some picture quality? Most likely
connecting the cable directly would not allow me to ...

American Standard whirlpool05 Feb 2008 15:23 GMT6
I have an AMerican Standard whirlpool tub with an electric switch.  From time to time (more and more frequently) the switch won't work - no power - but I've found that if I trip and then reset the breaker, it will work.  Sounds like something's wrong?

I have contractors working on a bathroom at my house. They actually

Who makes ***GREAT*** replacement windows?05 Feb 2008 03:13 GMT26
I live in the cold northeast, and am looking to replace 17 windows in my 60
year old house with energy efficient and easy to maintain / repair windows.
This will be an expensive and messy project, impacting essentially every
room in the house, so I want to do it right the first ...
why common trip breakers for 120V circuits?05 Feb 2008 02:59 GMT13
I'm looking at a subpanel that was installed for an addition to my
house about 20 years ago (well before I bought it).  I'm mapping out
the circuits which were never labeled.
I've found that four 120V circuits are tied to two common trip dual-
gluing down corner bead?05 Feb 2008 01:55 GMT5
Can I use construction adhesive to affix metal corner bead to my
sheetrock outside corners?  There are a few corners where one sheet of
drywall comes up a little short, and while the corner bead will cover
it, I'm afraid if I nail or screw through it will crush the edges of
whirlpool duet ht (ghw9400pl0) spin cycle very slooooow05 Feb 2008 01:55 GMT2
My duet washer just started acting up by spinning very slow.  I found
a note on how to make it go into the diagnostic cycle and was able to
force a spin cycle, but it appeared normal.  Why would it spin slowly
during a normal cycle, but regular spin speed during a test cycle?  Is
Tecumseh Snowblower running to slow??05 Feb 2008 00:28 GMT3
I am running an 11 horse Tecumseh engine on my blower and I notice that it is not
performing as well as some of the smaller blowers in the neighborhood.
I think its being governed a little to slow. How do you adjust the governed speed?????

Bedwetting alarm05 Feb 2008 00:18 GMT11
he alarm unit goes on the shoulder and the sensor goes in the
underwear. When the sensor is wet with urine, it triggers a loud alarm
to wake the bed-wetter. The DRI Sleeper alarm unit is held on the
shoulder of the Pyjamas or T-shirt with the Velcro supplied. This
