Sanded or unsanded grout06 Feb 2008 22:44 GMT1
When I was buying grout, the tile salesmen insisted that if the grout
lines are greater than 1/8" we must use sanded grout. (My grout lines
are irregular and in a few places are indeed greater than 1/8".) My
tile setters, on the other hand, tell me that they never use sanded
attic exhaust fan search06 Feb 2008 22:24 GMT1
I am looking too install a roof-mounted attic exhaust fan. Is there a
good place for reviews? I am especially interested in a quiet fan as
it will be right above the bedroom. The space is small (450 sq ft)
with a low roof pitch, so I don't need a large one.

Well, bathroom sink was running slow. Did the plunger, hot water,

Air brad nailer - instructions?06 Feb 2008 15:05 GMT3
A while ago I picked up a cheap, no-name pneumatic brad nailer. The
instructions that came with it are pretty much useless. It's worked well the
few times I've used it.
I'm going to be installing some molding with this gun and don't want to
Anyone modified snowblower exhaust?06 Feb 2008 13:30 GMT7
My snowblower, probably like a lot of them, has the muffler located
right smack in front of the operator.  I smell like a refinery after
30 minutes of snowblowing.
Has anyone heard or seen of anyone putting a black iron pipe extension

Out of the blue, my <1 yo Kenmore Dishwasher (model #
665.16032401) is making a steady noise (not grinding or the
high-pitched whine associated with the water pump not pumping
water) but a middle-of-the-road steady noise. Right now the noise
wall insulation06 Feb 2008 03:41 GMT8
Hi...
We're having some remodeling done that involves pulling off some
drywall here and there.  The house is not very well insulated, and we
were thinking of re-insulating at least the parts that get exposed.
