how to insulate a 6 inch warp on bottom of door seal02 Dec 2007 19:28 GMT1
My back door is slightly warped at that very bottom of the seal with
the doorway enough to allow a breeze. I tried weatherstripping but
it's not thick enough and falls off if i layer it. I am thinking about
finding a way to shave down a piece of wood and attaching it either to

I am going to insall a tin backsplash.. It looks easy enough.. cut the
tin sheets to size...
However, the kitchen walls are textured.. I don't know what it is--

It`s winter time and cold and as usual the tractor battery is almost

My old Carrier gas furnace heats just fine, but does something I don't
recall it doing in the past.  Whenever the thermostat has told the
system to turn on and provide heat, I hear the burner re-igniting
several times while the fan is still running.  I assume that since I

I was going to install my bathroom sink last week, but one of the wall
mounts has gone missing. It's a circa 1954 (that's the date stamped on

have about 400' of 3/4 and 1 inch copper in basement and crawl space in this
system....Is it worth the effort to insulate these things? I checked Home

Have a wooden front door that has warped with age.  Doesn't stay closed.
Have tried putting insulation strips to keep it shut.  Still swings open.
If I put too much insulation it is too difficult to close.

I have a Rheem water heater, 50 gal, aprox 5 years old.  Within last
month I had to replace the thermocouple, worked fine until this week,
now I notice that the pilot light is about 3 inches hight and there is
flame coming from the bottom of the pilot burner from the air inlet.
