Just finished my outdoor lights and I saw the guy next door standing on the
metal ladder with lights all around him connecting strings of lights
together. Made me think about how many guys have been hurt --shocked or by
falling from a ladder while doing a"Family Christmas" thing.

Painting a broken tile fireplace hearth - Help please03 Dec 2007 21:24 GMT1
Before we get into a discussion about painting brick, that deed was
done about 25 years ago.  The fireplace hearth was originally red,
broken tile, set in mortar.  It was painted white with an "epoxy
paint" - a single can mixture.  Now, it has developed chips in a few

Hi all:  I'm adding some counterspace in the kitchen of my home and want, if
possible, to match the 20 yr. old ceramic tile that's on the existing
counters.  I'm pretty sure it was a Dal tile product.  I suspect the odds of
success are long, but would appreciate any advice re. best ...

The shop is all new, cement included.  I believe now my husband is looking
at staining the floor, and we appreciate all the comments.

My Sears 1000 XLT tractor is driving absloulutely nuts . The pulley
that drives the left side blade keeps stripping. The pulley is
attached to it's shaft with a star connection. If I hit a root or
