Hunter (44550) thermostat makes noise when I press the light bar04 Dec 2007 23:26 GMT13
I bought and installed one about a week ago and it's doing a great job

when I press the light bar on the left side of the devices, a quiet
and high pitched tone is emitted.
another roofing question04 Dec 2007 22:29 GMT1
My neighbor's roof started to leak last week. He got estimates from
several roofers and found the prices to be outrageous. He finally found
one that was fairly priced. $75.00 for a complete roof. Wow!

I purchased a new home (that was 95% completed when I bought it) that
was prewired for surround sound. I opened the plates where the
speakers are supposed to be attached on the walls, and found a (rather

I'm framing for an interior door in my basement.  I was told that if
the door is 36 inches wide to frame 2 inches bigger.   That is frame
38 inches which leaves 1 inch on either side.  Is that correct ?  I
guess there needs to be room for the shimming and the door jamb
How much torque on a fitting?04 Dec 2007 19:41 GMT25
How much torque can one apply to a fitting, say an anode screwed into a
hot water tank, before getting into the area where one needs to be
concerned about the integrity of the tank itself?
I suspect that it's new water heater time, or close to it, but I was

this mean my total kitchen counter height will be 35 3/4", or do the
