The bottom freezer section of my 10 year old Amana BX20S5 refrigerator
appears to be nearing the end of its ropes.  For example, even though
it can freeze ice cubes O.K. with the thermostat set on coldest, the
ice cream looks more like vanilla pudding.  Which option is

OK  here's what it does.
it goes all the way down, sits there for a second then opens again.
It's a "Liftmaster" 1/2 HP motor. Checked the sensors and they seem to
be clear and operational.

I have a small bathroom with old vinyl tile on the floor.  Would

work?  The kind that is sold in packages and can be cut to measure.
