Refrig / freezer repair or replace?30 Dec 2007 18:33 GMT10
The bottom freezer section of my 10 year old Amana BX20S5 refrigerator

it can freeze ice cubes O.K. with the thermostat set on coldest, the
ice cream looks more like vanilla pudding.  Which option is

OK  here's what it does.
it goes all the way down, sits there for a second then opens again.
It's a "Liftmaster" 1/2 HP motor. Checked the sensors and they seem to
be clear and operational.

start here! :-))
I've got a room with a couple windows--one is a view-only window
Free Painting DVD30 Dec 2007 09:53 GMT1
If you plan to paint, you need to send for this FREE DVD from Purdy. I
learned so much from it!  For instance, did you know you shouldn't
wipe your brush against the side of the paint can?  Just tap it
against sides or you lose too much paint...and painting  takes much
Furnace igniter clicking all the time30 Dec 2007 09:15 GMT7
My gas furnace seems to be working well. It heats when it should and
shuts off when it should. The trouble is that the igniter clicks all

as to what is happening would be greatly appreciated.

attach it to the floor. The slab is stamped with the words, "Do not
drill or core." I am also unsure about the best way to create a vapor

Have a gas fired vertical tank hot water heater for the house.  Relatively

Eavestrough dripping - icy stairs30 Dec 2007 03:07 GMT5
I have poorly installed eavestroughing right above the front stairs to
my house.
It's too late to go after the builder (I should have had him take care
of this a long time ago).

Dirty Sock Syndrome Trane Heat Pump30 Dec 2007 01:55 GMT8
For those who would understand the subject line should say it all. In North
GA USA I have 1.5 ton Trane heat pump about 6 years old. It has the dirty

tendency to emit an odor like extreme musty socks. It has ...

Can it be installed on top of the vinyl -- as cushioning?   Tx.
