Electrical/cable service strain relief?16 Dec 2007 22:00 GMT7
I need the strain relief that holds the cable to my house.  The clerks
at Lowes/HD have no idea what I'm talking about.  It crimps to the
cable and is then attached to the side of the house, giving some slack
in the cable.  The electrical service has these too, but the one for

I'm certain I saw *somewhere* in the 2005 NEC the requirement that any exhaust
fan, light, or fan/light combo, installed within a shower or over a bathtub
must be protected by a GFCI -- but I can't find the specific article. Somebody
help me out here, please.

power goes out. Milk, bread, eggs, etc.
My sympathies to the folks in Oklahoma, and other places affected by the ice

Thermador Cooktop LP or Natural Gas?16 Dec 2007 03:19 GMT1
I purchased a pair of Thermador SGCS365RS cooktops second hand.  One
has a sticker that indicates it was converted to LP... this is
consistent with the regulator (RV47CL) which has been configured to
LP.  The second cooktop has no markers indicating LP conversion and

anything wider than 24", or anything (like rigid foam board) which
