Help!!  We just had a huge rain storm here in the north east (over 4
inches since this morning).  This afternoon we noticed a lot of water
coming out of the ash cleanout doors in the basement and making a mess.
After several hours of wet vacing the rain has let up and with that

We installed laminate flooring in our home in March. Just last week I
noticed that it has started to pop up right outside our bedroom door.
It is one continuous floor from the living room through our bedroom.
When I step on it it flattens, then pops up again when I step off. My

I live in an old buliding with my granfather and mother we have roaches
everywhere. I have cleaned everywhere put roach bait out and still I am
having roaches. The landlord has not taken care of the things that the
Inspector has asked him to do.   So I am not going to whine about it

I'm trying to find a replacement part to repair some vinyl plantation
shutters.  In a wood shutter, the louvers are attached to the tilt
wand with metal staples, but these shutters have a T-shaped nylon pin.
This isn't the round pin that goes into the stile of the shutter.

I am somewhat confused about this single pole, double pole/2 wire,
wire difference in line voltage thermostats.  I have purchased multipl
line voltage thermostats and didn't notice the difference until I pulle
my old thermo off of the wall.  I have 2 wires, red and black, connecte

i'm installing an under the cabinet lighting kit of three lights which
is hard wired to outlet. what i want to know is this! the kit comes
with three lights and we have come to conclusion half way through
installation that we only need 2 light, there also is a lot of wire to

proper size locally even at the plumbing distributor nor after looking
through all the assortments at all the hardware stores--and, no, I'm

I purchased my pool approximately 3 years ago (above ground 24' round
with 48" sidewalls, approximately 13,000 gallons). I've often wondered
if the filter I was sold (as part of the pool kit) was appropriate for
the size pool I have because no one else around me has a filter this

I have a rear bagger 21" Craftsman mower with the dust collector-grass
catcher that has accumulated about five pounds of dust in the side of
the bag and there is no way to empty it out....Any ideas?  WIsdom?
It caught it really good but now lets get rid of it!

Ok I can't figure this out.  Whenever I run the faucet in my kitchen
for a few minutes suddenly a really bad smell hits the air.  It's
strongest under the sink.  I thought it was the trap but the smell
still comes back after I had it replaced.  The plumber didn't believe
