Dryer drum stopped rotating08 May 2006 05:57 GMT5
I've got a Kenmore 80 Series electric clothes dryer, whose drum stopped
turning last night.  The heat comes on, and it sounds like the motor is
running, but there's no tumbling.  I could probably switch out a simple
part or two, if that's what wrong, but I don't know what to look ...
Washing machines that are built like commercial machines?08 May 2006 05:38 GMT41
It seems that my current maytag washer broke the clutch, that's very
hard to get to. The motor and the tub pulley spin, but the tub does
not engage. There were also some bad noises coming from there, as
though a piece of metal was caught between some gears. These noises

About two years ago, I had my 2nd story bathroom remodeled.  For months, it

sink.    It drains well .. But to get rid of the smell, I did try a draino
type liquid.   Didn't fix the problem.   This has been ...

Dryer problem making me crazy08 May 2006 00:29 GMT11
I have a 7 year old whirlpool dryer with electronic sensor dry (2
contacts inside drum).  The dryer occasionally (once in every 5-6
cycles) stops.  It nearly always stops within the first 10 minutes.  It
is tough to diagnose due to the occasional nature of the stops.  Here

Utility sink plumbing questions07 May 2006 22:26 GMT4
I want to put a utility sink in my garage. The main reason is to have
softwater hot & cold for car washing etc. I plan on tapping into bathroom
plumbing in the basement and run pipes up and through the firewall just
above the foundation wall into the garage.  I have easy access ...

Checking disconnected hot tub07 May 2006 20:50 GMT4
On an impulse (I know) I bought a really clean looking hot tub (1998 6
person lounge Saratoga Spa - Gideon) for $250 without actually seeing
if it worked. It looked great. The filters were pretty clean. The water
coming out of the tubing was clear. I was TOLD it worked fine except
