Im seriously considering a Generac 7000 EXL  model which will be tied
into my electrical panel. I just want it mainly for critical loads in
case of a power outage...like : the Furnace Motor (1/3 h.p.) , the

My kenmore washer when it goes into the spin cycle begins to shake
violently.   It will do this (to a lesser degree) when there aren't even
any clothes in it.  How can I resolve this problem?  Why is it doing
this?  It shakes so much you have to sit on it to stop it from walking

I've had this 6-brush unit for several years.  Now it has started
leading fluid.  Sitting at rest with fluid in the tank, the stuff just

I am running a gas line out to my garage, however the run is about
120feet so I'll need to use a couple of rolls. I am using type L soft
copper tubing. Is it okay to solder joints in a gas supply line or

Is there a code requirement that receptacles be installed using pigtails?
Example:  an outlet box with two 12-2 cables and a receptacle.  Can you just
wire through the outlet (use all four screws), or must you create pigtails
for the conductors, thus using only two screws on the ...

My basement insulated half walls 2"fiberglass, plastic covered fiberglass.
Should I:
1) add another half wall 2" fiberglass
2) use existing half wall, add rigid polystyrene insulation

does anybody have any advice on problems with those modular Icemakers
put in Freezers ?
My icemaker stopped making ice and I believe the heater is not turning
on to allow the maker to move the ice out.  Any suggestions ??
