I have seen deadbolt locks for front doors that are locked and unlocked via an infrared transmitter that fits on a keychain. Has any company come out with one that is triggered by a card fob in your pocket, similar to what is available on some of the high-end cars?

I am ready and about to buy materials for the repiping from galvanized 1/2" to copper ?", but what size to use? I would like to go with 1/2" type K but that takes up more inside diameter then M and L. Should I go with 5/8" K, 3/4" K or just not be worried about the inside

I've decided to use propane for an space about 750 square feet. There is no plumbing up to the space (on second floor). Apparently someone qualified can install a special plastic pipe now and you don't have to use metal. I'm sure this is a lot less. Correct?
