CD Key30 Dec 2003 04:06 GMT9
I have bought a new game for my son for X-mas. (Empires-Dawn of the Modern
World) (Tom Clancy's-Rainbow6-3) and we want to play to together on our LAN
network. We can do this on most of our "older" games.
On these newer games when we start to play multiplayer it says "Cannot start

vertical tile adhesion30 Dec 2003 03:54 GMT4
I am beginning a project for an outdoor kitchen.  I want to use tile, but
mostly in a vertical position for decoration.  The substrate would get
occasionally wet, but not a lot.  Maybe not at all if the roof covers
everything, and doesn't leak or drip any water.
How to select the correct drill bit and plastic anchor size for a screwing on the wall?30 Dec 2003 03:16 GMT3
I'm attaching my cabinets to the wall. I'm opening holes for putting plastic
anchors in which I will put screws. The question is which is the
relationship between the sizes of the drill bit, the anchor and the screw?
Is it a table that relates drill size/anchor
Annual HVAC Service contracts.30 Dec 2003 02:45 GMT7
Annual contracts are great for the homeowner that has a problem with
changing  out the air filter, or washing out the outside coils of a heat
pump / a c unit, or hasn't the time, tools or knowledge to oil a motor, or
spot a potential visual problem.

Thanks
glass block window installation in basement30 Dec 2003 02:09 GMT1
I need a sure fire method for installing a glass block window which
includes a vent in a basement window opening.  It's all in one piece.
We installed one a couple of years ago and the blocks on the outside
edges have cracked.  We need to do it right this time.
Refinishing the top of a Nightstand?30 Dec 2003 01:23 GMT5
I have a relatively new piece of funiture (a nightstand) that I spilled nail
polish remover on.  I tried sanding the section I spilled on and putting old
englih on it but the sanding marks showed up.  I know I have to sand with
finer sand paper and then a rubbin agent but I have a ...
wiring30 Dec 2003 01:04 GMT4
I was rewiring an overhead light receptacle in my unfinished basement
to be an outlet so I could plug a flourescent light into it.  I didn't
turn off the juice while I was doing it and the hot lead touched a
nearby metal heating duct for a few seconds, taking the circuit out.
'test wiring' my Ideal German paper shredder/bypassing the circuit board30 Dec 2003 00:36 GMT10
was given a 'lightly disassembled', non-functional (but complete)
German paper shredder, and told 'it won't run' and 'you can have it'.
Not sure what the problem is exactly, but, right now I _need_ a
shredder, but before going further, I'd like to 'partially test it' by
Creaking stairs and floors in new house30 Dec 2003 00:35 GMT3
I've been in my newly built house for 5 months now and I've noticed that
a couple of the stairs are creaking and if I step on a particular area in my
tiled bathroom there is a small but distinct shudder in the entire bathroom.
Is this part and parcel of a house, or did my ...
slow leak on GE refrigerator cold water dispenser30 Dec 2003 00:32 GMT2
I've got a slow leak from the cold water dispenser on a GE refrigerator.  My
impression is that the when one calls for cold water, a solenoid opens an
inlet valve. So, any leaks are caused by a faulty valve - i.e., it is not
completely closing - and I need to replace the valve.  Is ...
Dishwasher Airgap: Is it required?29 Dec 2003 23:51 GMT4
I'm installing a dishwasher and was told I need an airgap between the
diswasher output and the garbage disposal connection.  I've seen these
at the local home centers yet I never see these in any of the kitchens
shown in  remodeling magazines or on any of the remodeling shows on ...
Gas stove top igniters29 Dec 2003 21:46 GMT4
Our Jennair gas stove-top igniters all spark when opening a burner.
Increasingly, we have igniters sparking for up to a dozen times after
the gas has ignited.  We have tried all of the easiest remedies such
as cleaning the metal surfaces and the insulator materials, called the
