Secondary water system24 Jun 2006 17:39 GMT3
I live on the outskirts of a town and am hooked up to city water
although I don't live in the town.  When my town resident neighbor turns
on his lawn sprinkler (installed system) my water pressure drops to zero
and I have a six or seven hour wait ahead of me for service to resume.

now than ever)
1. if I need the greensand filter considering what Gary wrote long ago.
Punctured Water Pipe12 Jun 2006 18:22 GMT4
I accidentally put a  hole in an underground water pipe.  The pipe is about
3" in diameter and is flexible plastic.  It runs from a pond skimmer to the
top of a mound to supply water to a waterfall.  The hold is about 1/2"
square.   Can I plug the hole somehow  to stop the water ...
Whistling plumbing11 Jun 2006 09:28 GMT3
