faucet squeaks28 Mar 2005 22:57 GMT1
Hi everyone.  I have done many fix-it projects around our house, but I have
never had a problem like this. My kitchen faucet which I replaced about a
year a go, a Price Pfister, has started to squeak when you rotate the spigot
from one side to the other.  It only makes this ...
Questions about replacing a septic drain-field26 Mar 2005 04:37 GMT2
After pumping out our septic tank, I'm told that my drain-field is clogged,
probably with roots.  After digging out the entrance to the drain-field, I
see that there is no distribution box, just Teed off PVC branching into the
drain lines.

Hello  I am about to replace many flush valves at our local fairgrounds.
Does anyone know why NOT to use the Regal or Zurn instead of the way more $
Sloan Royal???  The Regal and Zurn are at least 35% less expensive.  Thanks
for any first hand knowledge with these units!    baron

What is the proper way to bleed a hot water boiler w/radiators?  Is it
normal for the system to use water if there are no leaks?

Any experience with new Kohler Cimarron Comfort Height toilet?20 Mar 2005 18:20 GMT1
Any good or bad experiences with the Kohler Cimarron Comfort Height
toilets?  They are supposed to have reduced blockage by a significant
amount -- and have increased the cost to match.  Are they worth the
extra cost?

Stubborn valve seat removal?16 Mar 2005 21:31 GMT3
Seeing increasing drip-by and low washer life on Gerber (~ 25 year old
style) shower valves - managed to get the cold side out and replaced, but
the hot side is beyond rounded out and will not budge using a seat removal
tool.  There is no access other than the cutout in the ...

Sorry for intruding but can I ask a question.  Can someone tell me please

if it's vertical (roughly) and only about 6 ft high?  In a few different
diameters?  I've looked on the internet and I can only ...

Kitchen Faucet Upgrade07 Mar 2005 02:48 GMT1
A friend has an old-style wall mount kitchen faucet which he would like to
replace with a newer style countertop unit, only the space on the counter is
too narrow to allow such, as is usually the case without replacing the sink.
I know that there are some units available, but the ...
Remodel done Toilet does not Flush right...07 Mar 2005 01:06 GMT1
I am in need of some advice.  We moved the  2nd floor toilet 10 inches to
the right and now it barely flushes when there is only toilet paper in the
bowl.  Any solids will stop it up and takes about 3 attempts with the
plunger to get it cleared.
