Can anyone identify these insect eggs?21 Jun 2006 21:59 GMT3
I keep finding these very small clusters of eggs on windows, bricks,
siding and other surfaces on my house. The whole cluster is about an
inch and a half. They contain probably about 50 or 100 very small eggs.
Which insect laid these eggs and how can I get rid of them?
Do I really have termites?17 Jun 2006 18:43 GMT5
Hello, I have wood damage on a stair in my basement.  No mud tubes but
the wood had has been eaten.  The first man, Terminix, said that it was
dry rot not termites.  Just a fee of $460 to treat carpenter ants.
Some of those I found and saved to show what's down there.  The second

arms, hands, occasionally on my back.  Sometimes a little dried blood
on the lesion, sometimes not. Sometimes a little irritated and itchy
Help with information on 'termite protection' please09 Jun 2006 21:33 GMT11
We have a five year old wood frame/stucco home in Southern Arizona. Termites
are a big problem here, or so "they" say.  I have not seen a home tented
yet, though I saw many in my hometown in central California.
Our initial treatment (the one the builder had done) is up and we are ...

spiders, Spiders, SPIDERS!!!!08 Jun 2006 18:25 GMT12
We are being overrun by spiders.  If it wouldn't be paranoid, I'd think they
were out to get me :-).
We live in SE Arizona in a residential neighborhood that has a ton of open
space and natural areas.  It's like Wild Kingdom out here, I swear.

Carpenter Ants (Black)05 Jun 2006 23:39 GMT6
It seems that once every spring or other spring I get carpenter ants in the
house.  I use the dust/poison and they disappear for another year.  I saw a
two different lawn treatment products at my local hardware store that claim
to rid a property of carpenter ants by applying their ...

Flea Spray03 Jun 2006 21:05 GMT5
I am in New Orleans and have fleas in my garage and in my lawn.  I
bought a 2 gal sprayer and a bottle of "Ant, Flea, Tick, and Mosquite
Killer" that contains 2.5% permethrin.  The application notes say to
dilute 6 oz of the concentrate to 10 gallons to cover 1,000 sq ft.
Can a home owner treat to prevent termites?03 Jun 2006 04:14 GMT2
I know that a licensed pest control service would be recommended as the best
way to prevent termites.  However, I would like to avoid the cost and take

I am in a new home (one year old) and the termite protection that came with
