| Chafer beetle control | 31 May 2004 19:47 GMT | 1 |
I was wondering if anyone knows of any way of controlling these pests using household chemicals, or is just a matter of buying a pesticide? I have a small boy and 2 dogs to think about as well, but these pests are really annoying me!!!

| Indoor insect control? | 21 May 2004 14:18 GMT | 3 |
In the past I've seen professional exterminators (Orkin and/or Terminix types) spray something around the baseboards inside the house to control insects. They swore it was safe to use around pets. (And none of the pets ever got sick.)

| Best ant trap for pharaoh ants? | 12 May 2004 23:24 GMT | 4 |
For a while, my family's house has had a persistent pharaoh ant problem in one area of our counter space. Yeah, we've carefully kept the counters clean, lids on everything, etc., but if a kid leaves a peanut-butter knife on the counter, say, ants're all over it within a few hours.

Right now I am hearing a rather noisy gnawing type of sound coming from the "overhang" area of my house. Nothing in my walk up attic that I can see. Nothing on my roof that I can see with my flashlight, but then the sound seems to be possibly traveling around the perimeter of my ...

| Exterminator estimate | 06 May 2004 04:12 GMT | 2 |
I'm trying to get a basic idea of the cost for a one-time application underneath a small home. Evidence of a wood beetle of some sort on some beams require the spray, but the quote given seems much too high. Two different realtors told me to plan on it costing what turned out to ...

Have any of you professionals got anything to say about the new fire ant control product called Over and Out? My neighbor applied it about a week ago and today she has a new colony of fire ants in her front yard.
