| Use caution when selecting an above ground pool | 30 Jun 2006 18:31 GMT | 3 |
Well I made the mistake of buying one of the 16' x 4' circle pools (above-ground) last summer. I followed the directions verbatim for preparing the pool for winter. All pump and filter supplies including hoses were stored in a heated and dry basement. Usually wouldn't

| base for building backyard fireplace | 26 Jun 2006 01:04 GMT | 1 |
I read how an outside fireplace needs special bricks ("fire bricks") to build safely but what about the base for laying those bricks? Do they need a cement layer first (as I've read some place) or is just some gravel packed down a sufficient base to lay bricks. Any suggestions
