Low Loss RG6, and other tv antenna questions ??13 Mar 2005 18:20 GMT13
I live about 8 miles from 4 local tv stations, and 25 miles from a much

I plan to buy a medium size vhf/uhf  antenna.  My coax run will be  50 feet.
Although I don't really need  "gain" for the vhf stations, ...

Time to mow an acre ?13 Mar 2005 05:16 GMT11
I'm looking at a house that has a few acres of oland, almost all grass.
How long does it take to mow ?  Never had that much grass before.
Let's say I'm using a typical riding mower, riding at the fastest safe
speed, on dry level ground, and I don't care about it being perfect.

Motion Detector + Fluorescent Lights won't play nicely...11 Mar 2005 15:23 GMT7
I have a motion sensor switch in my laundry room to activate the lights.

changed from my incandescent fixture to a fluorescent one, to provide better
lighting.
Home rehab/remodel blogs10 Mar 2005 07:39 GMT3
I just bought a fixer-upper for about 1/3 the price of a 'good' house
in the same neighborhood.  I plan on living in it while I fix it up and
then sell it, evaluate the pro's and con's and decide whether to repeat
the process.
Are Bleach Tabs Harmful to Fluidmaster?09 Mar 2005 23:55 GMT5
I know Fluidmaster warns that using the typical bleach toilet cleaning

true? Does vinyl tubing and plastic break down in the presence of a
bleach-water solution? I ask because I installed Fluidmaster's own
