Gas clothes dryer not heating good22 Feb 2005 04:03 GMT5
Hi, someone gave me an old Montgomery Ward gas clothes dryer a few months
back. The model # is LNC8375A80. This may be an 1982 or so model, as it
reference something or another about 1982 on the info plate.
The dryer worked pretty decent, maybe a little noisy, but heated good until

i have a dryer that keeps melting the heater coils. it works fine for a
couple of loads, then melts the coils in half. also, the timer doesn't
work. is this a problem with the timer or the thermostat? what do i
need to check?

My parents are going to get a new TV to replace their old 50" TV.  Here are
the 3 choices they are considering:
1.  A regular old-fashioned 50" projection TV like they used to have
(cheap).

My builder wants to insulate my house with fire-retardant cellulose.  My
architect wants to use fiberglass.  I have also read a little about
fire-retardant denim.  Any thoughts?

I have a problem with light in my kitchen.
I want to put in some recessed lights but have limited clearance.
Above the kitchen is a bathroom with a poured concrete floor.  This
leaves me 5" of clearance from the subfloor (planks supporting the

I noticed that the sump pump in my house seems to be running
continuously even when there is no rain. When I checked the sump, I
found that there is continuous flow of water into the sump below the
drain pipe that enters in sump pit.

My water is somewhat hard and heavy with chlorine. My plumber is going
to install a filter on the main water line into the house. I am
concerned with a reduction in water pressure like what happens when I

Are this this equpment exactly the same for a 80% furnace  10 SEER

I have decided to go with one of those plastic/resin 8x8 sheds.  These
came with a resin flooring already.
My question is preping the area and the foundation.  I originally
thought about having concrete poured but it is too much money /

 I've had some water damage to my vinyl floor and have a check from my
insurance company to repair it.  I had a person from a local flooring store come
out to give an estimate.  He wants to replace the entire floor, not just the
damaged part.. No surprise there!!

I have a house that appaerntly was built with little or no insulation
in two walls. The house is wood shingled.Any ideas on the best,
economical way to rectify this without taking off the shingling?

I just finished remodeling a house.  The outside deck has sat without a
finish surface for about 2 years.  A rubber membrane surface was painted on
the plywood deck and then an aggregate coat was floated on top.  Well the
guy who did it did not tape the seams properly and it started ...
