Hi, we have recently moved to CO and are looking at a new tract house that will be ready around July. 2 items in the contract caught my attention: 1. the builder was asking for no less than 3% of earnest money deposit.

The backup pump currently will run, but not pump any water out of the drainage hole. The pump's instruction says that if this occurs to drill a small hole in the drainage pipe about 3 inches above the hole. Can someone explain to me why this should work, before I start drilling

We have a bath tub that has one of those stoppers that has 'push' printed on it. I push it to fill the tub, push it again it pops up and drains the tub. How one earth can I remove this stopper completely from the tub? I need to unclog the drain plus I would rather use some other ...
