Automatic Cycles (both regular and permanent press) but the timed cycle (you
set the number of minutes works fine).  To use the automatic cycles, one sets

LG Washer WM2277HW - Dispenser Problem31 Dec 2004 23:50 GMT1
We have an LG washer model WM2277HW that works very well, but has a
problem that we can't figure out.  Every once in a while, bleach or
fabric softener will be dispensed while pouring it into the dispenser.
This has caused some staining of clothes.  When this happens, we are

Hot Tub Supports31 Dec 2004 18:46 GMT2
I'm going to expand our deck, enclose it and make it a screened porch.
I'd like to buy a co-worker's hot tub and put it at deck-level.
I haven't seen his tub yet, but believe it's a free standing unit with
wood sides.

Garage Door Receivers and Cold Weather31 Dec 2004 14:09 GMT1
Anyone know if there is any correlation between the weather and your
receiver picking up a signal from the transmitters ?  For about a week,
maybe coincidentally during a cold spell, my garage door transmitters
would only open the door if standing directly under the unit.  They
Light flickers briefly when first turned on31 Dec 2004 09:07 GMT4
Hello.  I'm referring to the light that's attached to the ceiling, in
one of the rooms of my house.  When I first turn it on by flicking the
light switch on the wall, it flickers on and off a bit for like half a
second or so, but then it stays on continuously at a constant
Basement finishing suggestions?31 Dec 2004 06:56 GMT6
I am in the process of finishing our basement.  Our home is 2 years old
with poured basement walls.  We have started to put up 2x4 framing
against the walls, and planned to insulate with faced R-13 fiberglass
insulation, and put up 1/2 drywall.  Recently a friend suggested that
Patio Furniture31 Dec 2004 00:47 GMT4
Patio furniture - It is almost time for patio furniture. Can someone
recommend patio furniture that is casual? I think we want wooden patio
furniture.
Plastic Switch/Outlet Gang Box Question30 Dec 2004 22:21 GMT2
Will be adding a gang box for a new outlet, and also one for a wall switch
in a home residence.
Guess I'm really old fashioned, but all the ones I've installed were always
metal.
Installing Bosch dishwasher30 Dec 2004 16:51 GMT3
What is the secret on those little brackets that attach Bosch dishwashers
to the surrounding cabinet? In case it matters, this is an SHU43C02 unit.
The drawings on the installation manual don't match reality at all, they
talk about slots that allegedly are found on the front corners ...

Insulation & vapor barrier question30 Dec 2004 13:59 GMT4
I have a Cape Cod style home located in Michigan. I gutted one of the
upstairs bedrooms, removed the collar ties and reinforced the rafters
to allow for a cathedral ceiling.
I have put in new insulation, but have a question about vapor barriers
Thoughts on basement?30 Dec 2004 01:47 GMT14
I'm sorry ahead of time if this is the wrong place to post this
question.
I will be constructing a two story house in Spring of 2006.  I'm
planning on building the house with a basement (which I will not finish
Frozen Heating Pipes - need professional opinion30 Dec 2004 01:26 GMT6
This is my first winter in my new home and there is an anomalous heating
issue.
The house is colonial with a bonus room over the garage (Finished Room Over
