I was looking for unfinished red-oak select or better hardwood floors in a MA home depot store. Noticed that the stuff they claim to be select is actually marked as #1 common by the manufacture. The manufacture is Harris Tarkett. Also, the floor does not have NORMA

Can anyone recommend good, knowledgeable, quality heating contractors in the Greater Toronto Area? After doing much research I've come to the conclusion that the brand of furnace is not the most important consideration but rather the quality of the installation is.

We have a GE self cleaning oven and we are attempting to engage the self cleaning mechanism. But for some reason, the "clean" latch on the door will only slide halfway. Is there some trick to get it to slide all the way to the right?

I am buying a property in CA. This has total 7500 sq.ft. plot. About 4500 sq.ft. plot is availabe behind main house. I want to construct another house on the plot, behind main house. Legally I will treat it as in-laws apartments (I will take legal permit for the construction).

I've just inherited a working 8' wide spa (AKA hot tub), fiberglass body in a foam-insulated wooden frame with an insulated lid, holding about 700 gallons. We're going to install this outside on what was a small (non-reg.) basketball court, and put up a windbreak around it.
