HOOVER Vacuum Leaves Black Marks31 Jul 2004 20:37 GMT2
We recently purchased a new "Preferred" model self-propelled HOOVER
Vacuum - fairly expensive as compared to most. Although it does a
satisfactory job of Vacuuming, if it happens to brush against our
white molding (painted years ago with latex paint), its rough black
Oreck Vacuums - Recommendations?31 Jul 2004 00:46 GMT36
I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for/against Oreck
vacuums.  I'm looking at the "XL" line, probably the most affordable
one.  I found a coupon here:

I noticed that US citizens build their homes from wood even though
they are extremely vulnerable to Tornados, after the victims` homes
has been destroyed by tornados, people rebuild their homes from wood
again.

everyone on this list might be able to help me since you have
apparently been involved with water well drilling equipment or
involved in the industry. I am interested in any incident at anytime
No closing if inspection report repairs not done?30 Jul 2004 16:22 GMT3
I had my house inspected last week. There were quite a few things that
the builder needs to fix according to my inspector. How common is it
for the builder to fix/repair what is included on the report before
closings? Do most homebuyers get most of their repairs done or do they

Kitchenaid gas range (about 2 years old), and it completely shattered.
Anyone know what's involved in replacing this? Is it something I can
do myself? How much is the part?
SPA WATER CHEMISTRY29 Jul 2004 12:41 GMT1
i have a new spa and the water seems clean and clear but after using
the spa I sometimes feel a sensation for lack of a better term on my
skin.  I actually think I may be overdoing the sanitation part so I
thought I would see if I could get some feedback in this forum.
furnitureland south29 Jul 2004 03:30 GMT4
Has anyone had bad experiences with furniture land south in North
Carolina? It seems they are running a racket over there. You pay for
furniture and you do not get the furniture for months after they
promised you.

Hi again, all.  Hope you don't mind all these questions.  A few nights
ago, there was a person trying to sell prepaid legal services to real
estate investors and home owners.  He was saying how much money it would
save, etc.
possible construction cost savings?27 Jul 2004 22:16 GMT10
Hi, all.  I have a friend who owns a house in the San Francisco area and
she is building a second floor to her house.  She knows this is not the
best way to upgrade cost-wise but she really likes the location and the
house so prefers to add a second floor rather than buy a new house ...
