Our water pressure was low yesterday and this morning we had none at

gone.  He's quoting us a price of $2200 to replace it.  We live in
destructiveness of ornamental tree30 Jun 2004 15:01 GMT2
Last fall, I planted a Japanese Tree Lilac in my front lawn...it is
currently 7 feet high and is supposed to get between 15-25 feet.  However

may have planted the tree nearly on top of it.

I have done some research for top-down/bottom-up wood blinds, but it
seems like that option is only available on the cellular type blinds.
Why is that? Is there some sort of technical impossiblity which
prevents them from ever being made? If anyone knows where I can

I bought - er, rather, my husband bought the Sanyo I mentioned.  My 3

better suction, I think.   It works better on hard floors than the
Lawn moss and limestone/gypsum application29 Jun 2004 01:16 GMT1
I have a fair amount of moss growing where I'd rather have grass!  I
live in NY.  I have a lot of trees and I guess this is the major
contributing factor in why I have moss instead of grass.
I went to my local garden center and they said I should apply

I'm buying a house.  My broker offers a home protection plan which is
actually the American Home Shield warranty.   The plan is for coverage of
appliances and systems such as the furnace, AC, etc.  The cost of the plan
is around $400 for one year of coverage, plus they charge $95 ...

Compact Fluorescent Lights w/ controls28 Jun 2004 12:52 GMT3
What's the deal with not using compact fluorescent lights (CFL) and with

Google searches produce many hits on "Emtek" and "Baldwin". Their online
catalogs suggest they have products that ->look OK.
