Here is my wkend project. I'm gonna work on the flower bed around the

Refinance... with no closing cost!23 Apr 2004 23:32 GMT2
I've been getting a lot of these offers in the mail to where you can
refinance an existing loan, with no closing cost.  Is this really true where you
as a home-owner, would have absolutely no out of pocket costs from refinancing?
Or would you still have to pay title, appraisal, etc ...

Suprised Home Prices arent going down yet23 Apr 2004 14:45 GMT13
The economy has been kinda bad for a few years now.
Right before the recession, a lot of people were either buying bigger
homes or rebuilding their current homes.
So I assumed they took out big loans, but after 2-3 years I thought
Lawn Tractors23 Apr 2004 11:58 GMT6
I am strongly considering purchasing a Husqvarna 2148 or a Craftsman
DYT4000, which I understand are essentially the same tractor.  Does anyone
have any experience with these brands as far as reliability is concerned.
My feeling and from what I've read on the web is that these ...
Starting new lawn -- Grass Seed Cost23 Apr 2004 03:56 GMT3
I will be starting a new lawn in the next few weeks (in the Western
New York area), and am wondering about the apparent wide variation of
grass seed prices.  All of the blends I have looked at are
theoretically designed for our area, from large companies (Scotts,
Window A/C for dehumidification onlys? How?23 Apr 2004 03:00 GMT7
Is it possible to use a window air conditioner to dehumidify only?
Pardon my ignorance, but we just moved from a land of swamp coolers
(evaporative coolers) to a very very humid climate.
It seems to me that there must be a way to at least convert an A/C to
New Construction Financing22 Apr 2004 21:41 GMT2
I own a piece of land in Las Vegas and am looking to possibly build a house.
My question is, when doing a construction loan, am I paying interest on the
entire loan or just on what has been drawn? For example, if it takes 6
months to build the house, will I be paying interest on ...

Connecting Electrical to Exterior Outlet22 Apr 2004 00:00 GMT2
I am pouring a patio and would like to wire a remote recepticle and

a stucco wall.  New concrete will be poured directly below the
existing box, and I plan to bring conduit out of the new concrete
Rainsoft, iron/sulfur filter21 Apr 2004 16:59 GMT8
I have a couple questions regarding an iron/sulfur filtering system.
Our water has high iron and has the "rotten egg" smell to it (we
already have a softener installed which is doing its thing). I am
looking for a good system to take care of the iron and "rotten egg"
