I have a Kitchen Aid gas stove (the convection style one). when the stovetop has been on for a long time, the control panel shuts down and all the lights go off. does it sound like I need a new control panel?

I purchased a parcel at a recent San Bernardino County, CA tax sale. It was a great price (about 1/5 assessed value) so I took a chance. Now, I need to find out if the parcel is land-locked or not. How do I go about discovering if I have some sort of easement (public perhaps?)

I purchased one of these at Home Depot but haven't installed it yet. Then I started reading that Hampton Bay quality isn't necessarily that good and some of their fans hum. The blades are supposed to be a newer design that's more efficient.
