my son just bought a house in upstate ny and he has an inspectors

walkthrough of rental property27 Nov 2003 12:40 GMT8
I'm not sure how big of a problem this really is (or even if it is a

negotiating, we signed a lease.  We did the walkthrough last weekend,
and were surprised to find the place much dirtier then when we had
Gel Fireplace27 Nov 2003 03:54 GMT2
We think it would be great to have a fireplace in our bedroom.
Unfortunately, the only option for us would be one of those vent-free
fireplaces that burn gel fuel.  Has anyone seen one in action?  Do
they come at all close to a real fireplace, or is the cheese factor
Uneven home heating26 Nov 2003 20:46 GMT2
We have a 4 bedroom colonial with oil heat via baseboards.  On one
corner of the house is the master bedroom, with 3 windows, which
controls the thermostat.  On the other corner, a smaller room also
with three windows, is the baby's room.  The baby's room is the

dispencer in its place.
I could just buy a new faucet but, It would cost me too much to have

Best Leather furniture style store dealer25 Nov 2003 12:49 GMT1
Looking for leather furniture?
It may help to know where NOT to go.

the same style as what I ordered but was not in fact the same style.

Meter on side of house, service panel 34' away - where to ground?24 Nov 2003 18:32 GMT6
In considering applying the 'earth grounding to be made within 8' of

the side of the house, yet the 200amp service panel will be on an

Comcast's wires go through my property24 Nov 2003 16:38 GMT13
Does anybody know if a cable company (Comcast) has a right to put their
wires through your property in the air without your permission? For several
years I have had their ugly cable go in the air (on the level of the window
of my second floor) from a post to my neighboor's house. I ...

really dirty, but could use a freshen up. I hope if I do this every

I have a reverse osmosis water filter which feeds the water
