For the high bandwidth stuff, AV, the good things are locked up by the
software content providers. You pay top dollars for media server but
the quality is 2nd best at best. Otherwise, all AV units should be
Ethernet (most likely wi-fi) appliances. How simple. With under $40

I have an electronic device that requires a DC Wall transformer rated
for 12VDC at 600 mA. Unfortunately, I have lost the power supply and I

I have a 30 foot Cruisers Rogue 3000 boat and need to get some extra
speaker coverage outside as the two small 6inch speakers aren't
handling the job. I can only assume that the padding in the arch was
initially made for speakers. the problem i'm having is that I have no

While working on the XTB-II AGC loop, I discovered it can be difficult to
deal with nose generated by compact fluorescent bulbs. A photo of CF noise

Any recommendations for home automation programs for use with X10 devices. I have HAL Deluxe but it only works while the program/computer is running and I can't seem to get Activehome to communicate with the CM11a any more. Hal works fine but I would like to be able to download ...

I need a lesson in multiswitches. In particular, I need to understand if a
multiswitch will solve my problem, or if I have to invest in and mount a
second satellite dish and run more cable.

Has anyone ever done this using Simpl+ ? I want the control system
either at boot-up or once a day sync with a time server. I am pretty
sure i can write the code to set the time, my only problem is not
knowing how to connect to an url/ip address. I can't seem to find
