CM11A with SERIAL to USB problems31 Oct 2006 13:57 GMT4
I am not being able to hook the CM11A interface via a SERIAL to USB
converter. I am using my laptop which doesn't have a serial port. I am
on windows XP sp2 and ActiveHome seems not to be able to communicate
with the device. Any ideas?

I know this is an old subject... but I could use some help. :-]
Just got ahold of a TM751, 2 lamp modules and an RF pad.  Hooked up two
lamps, everything worked great the first day.
The next day I started to get the endless dim.  Lamps turn on OK, but

What kind of speakers can these drive. Or how many watts are coming out
of the control. I know it is driven by 24 volts and a couple of amps
but what does that work out to in Watts?

Do home automation consultants/installers/owners need to be licensed as
perhaps electricians or some other kind of contractor in order to
perform business?  If not a requirement, would the choice effect company
liability insurance costs?  The area is Los Angeles, if it varies
