| Implementing failover of the Home Automation Rule Enforcer (HARE) in a federated environment. | 26 Jun 2006 18:09 GMT | 1 |
In a typical PC-centric Home Automation (HA) system, only one instance of the HA program (Homeseer, Premise Systems, CQS, MisterHouse ) is running at any given time. However one legacy HA program (Savoy's CyberHouse) has intrinsically provided for mutual cooperation of more than one ...

| Can you help me find a CP290, these days? :-) | 26 Jun 2006 00:19 GMT | 1 |
I'm looking for a CP290. I last purchased one from Home Automation Systems in July of 1999. (I had one that just a couple of weeks ago died. I got it in the early 1980's. It was more than 20 years old, and I definitely got my money's worth out of it!)

| Rozetta... just a flash in the pan? | 22 Jun 2006 06:40 GMT | 9 |
I haven't heard anything more about Rozetta here in a couple of months. Is this thing an actuality or just a pipe dream? I've been waiting for months to get one when they are released to the GP, and so far, I've seen nothing concrete except a few emails and list postings.

I've got a bunch of Commercial Electric CFLs (bought at home depot) in my house..what i really like about these CFLs is the "quickstart" technology...they come on immediately, just like an incandescent bulb. What I don't like is, of course, the x10 signal suck (or noise
