X10 and LED lights17 Dec 2005 16:02 GMT4
In the interest of power conservation, I used 3 strings of multicolored
LED light bulbs in my christmas tree this year.  I also used the same
AM486 2 pin Appliance Module to turn these tree lights ON and OFF as I
have in the past. I can hear the relay energizing and deenergising ...
Z-Wave in the news17 Dec 2005 03:18 GMT13
Fox news ran a 2-1/2 minute (for news that's pretty long) segment on
Z-Wave home automation today.  They talked about the vast number of
manufacturers that are getting on the Z-Wave bandwagon.  No mention
was made of HomeSeer, though they did demonstrate an ELK-M1 Gold

world.  No problem.
But he also wants to be able to put that same image onto the cable TV

Hi, guys,
I gave up on CM15a and bought a Smarthome PowerLinc Controller and I'm about

However, for the switches, the software allows dimming only on the Smarthome

I couldn't find the thread where we were discussing how to interface your
PLC designs to the powerline so I'll post this and hope it catches your
attention.
I just referred someone else to an application note on the Philips TDA5051A

Adding a "wideband RF preamp"14 Dec 2005 15:13 GMT5
While looking for ways to extend the signal range, I came across a
circa 2003 post in which Dave Houston refers to adding a wideband RF
preamp to get up to a 200' range.
There was a link included in that post, but it is now dead.  Would

Inflatable HVAC duct valves14 Dec 2005 12:04 GMT6
What I really need is just the bladders and the pump. I'd like to have
Homeseer control the action through my Ocelot/SECU16.
Is the inflatable kind any more affordable than the power dampers? Trying to
retrofit a power damper into my ducts is going to be terribly difficult.

Napco HA eprom version13 Dec 2005 20:04 GMT19
Can anyone tell me how to identify a valid HA enabled eprom for a NAPCO
9600 panel?  The one that came in my panel was a version 30b.  Another

version 40b, and has a U marked above it.  I thought I read someplace
