How can I connect two dual LNBs and then have 17 point in a structured cable network which allow me to connect recievers at any of the 17 points and have access to all channels. What type of switches and where can I source them?

I have an automation controller that can control powerline X10 devices by connecting a Power Line Interface (PL513 or TW523) with a supplied cable with RJ11 connectors on each end that plug between my automation controller and powerline interface module.

I'm new to this group. I have a CP290 and am using X10WC software by David Huras. It works great but I don't know what else is out there. The X10WC software goes back to Win3.1. Does anyone know if there is a more recent version? Has David abandoned this

I have installed Activehome and I get the following error... c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The systemfile is not suitable for running MS-DOS and microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application. How do I fix this. The autoexec.nt file does not exist... ...

I read an article that says you can substitute ground for neutral when wiring an x10 switch. Something tells me if this workaround was a good idea I'd have heard more about it. Comments anyone?
