Smarthome Manager/Manager Plus28 Feb 2005 20:45 GMT9
I was thinking about getting a Smarthome 1132CU and I saw that they
offer it with two different software packages- Manager and Manager Plus.
Does anyone know what the primary difference between the packages is?
I don't need to do anything too fancy, so I was thinking I would ...

Mister House Firecracker Issue27 Feb 2005 04:50 GMT6
Hello I am currently undertaking a huge project that requires the
program Mister House to control lights for an art exhibit.  I have been
really frustrated with the program because I cannot get it to control a
single light with a firecracker (CM17).  I have read through the
CM15A26 Feb 2005 16:13 GMT4
So...I spent the better half of this night searching the internet for
information on how to use the CM15A with anything other than the ActiveHome
Pro software - I couldn't find anything - unfortunately - except a few Linux

Paradox Digiplex DGP-NE96 alarm panel26 Feb 2005 14:22 GMT1
Anybody have experience with this?  (I'm considering replacing a DSC
MAXSYS.)  It appears that the communications protocol might meet my
automation requirements, but I couldn't find any obvious information
on basic alarm functionality, e.g., supported zone types.

This would be used in amateur astronomy out in the field.
Ocelot users?25 Feb 2005 18:10 GMT9
I am considering an Ocelot to control some X10 devices in my home.
Question: Does the Ocelot have the ability to see an X10 signal when I
turn on one of my X10 light switches and then send an 'off' to that
device after a programmed interval? If so, what type of X10 switch would
air conditioner open windows!25 Feb 2005 16:07 GMT1
I need a simple way that if someone leaves a window open or goes thru a

allow for short time open/close. The air conditioner controller is a 24
volt system.

LampLinc programming obscurities24 Feb 2005 21:56 GMT1
I've recently purchased a bunch of LampLinc 2000SHL3's.  Offering Prset
Dim levels is a real plus, but the programming documentation is
pretty-bad/wrong.  Checking with Smarthome wasn't any help; somewhat
akin to going to Radio Shack.
