Has anyone had any experience with the XCam2 Wireless Colour Video
Camera system. I'm interested in picture quality and range of
tranmission when compared to other units made by other manufactures.
Any positive or negative points would be appreciated.

I'm writing a dotNet application for myself to monitor and control my
Ocelot, and I had a couple of things that are unclear in the documentation I
have found.
1. How do I get the values for Contact, Humidity, Light, and temperature

Can anyone steer me in the direction of how to replace our office fax
machines with some form of electronic equivalent (efax)? I'm open to
all suggestions because I'm just a beginner at office automation.
We need to be able to cut and past text from the fax into our order

I bought a kit several years ago with (I think) 3 XCams and never installed
them due to poor reception.  I hate to see this money wasted so I was
wondering if there was a way to improve reception to a useable level.

I am looking for a relatively inexpensive device which can "measured"
the energy a pool heat pump uses for a season. I would like to know the
number of watts needed for a period of time or the number of hours the heat
pumps has worked.

I have the Inovonics 900Mhz reciever. Inovonics has a motion detector but
need to somehow find one that can do outdoors.

After years of relying on X10/Leviton components for automated pool/spa
control I decided that a more reliable solution was called for. The X10
signaling was never a problem but the failure rate of the switches and
modules was troublesome.

Since this is a knowledgable group, will post a question that got no
response from Davis Weather Instruments.
I have moved the previously working rain gauge from about 25' to around
100' and am now getting inaccurate (too low) switch count events.
