| Wireless audio transmission | 12 May 2004 23:58 GMT | 2 |
Does anyone know a way to stream the audio output of a computer wirelessly. I don't want to use any special media software on my computer, except maybe an alternatative virtual sound card driver that would redirect the output to the wireless receiver.

| Simple PC board layout | 12 May 2004 20:27 GMT | 12 |
I'm building a bunch of sensors to hook up to my HA system. Each will have <10 parts. I know I hand hand-wire them, but have seen simple photo-etch kits for PC boards.. You just print the layout on a special film using a laser

| UPS noise | 11 May 2004 13:59 GMT | 2 |
Anyone had trouble filtering a noisy UPS? I have an APC ES350U...have tried AF100 and Filterlinc, neither can block the noise from this UPS. I've had no problem filtering another identical UPS.

| Do couplers fail? | 11 May 2004 03:50 GMT | 8 |
I just installed an appliance outlet for the Pond. It's chained off the GFI that was already there. Everything works, but the controlled outlet of course. I tested the signal strength with one of those cheap SmartHome specials

| Newbie with Thermostat question | 11 May 2004 00:28 GMT | 3 |
Ok, while not a newbie to control circuits, I am definitely a newbie on X-10 stuff. That said, here is what I want to do: My 2 story house has very choked ducting, making cooling the upper floor without freezing the lower floor, impossible. Conversely, heating the lower

| x10 transmission issue | 10 May 2004 20:57 GMT | 7 |
I live in a fairly small 1 bedroom apartment. I cant get some of the rooms in my apartment to "talk" to other rooms. I believe that the problem is a problem that many people seem to have with the 220v coupling issue. Unfortunately, there are no 220v outlets in my

| X10 Testers | 10 May 2004 19:44 GMT | 9 |
With the addition of the ACT AT004 A10/X10 tester, I now have a fairly full arsenal of X10 test equipment. About the only thing missing is an oscilloscope. The old Leviton test set is useful for measuring signal strength and finding errors much like the Elk unit.

| Coupler Repeater experience | 09 May 2004 13:53 GMT | 1 |
I've had a trouble spot in my 7800sf 2 story home for some time. The signal in that area always showed up at less than 25mv - virtually useless - and noise reads at <25mv too. Disconnecting loads made no difference. There is an ACT CR234 Coupler/Repeater at the 1st floor
