I am adding two pair of speakers to outdoor patio areas of my home.
Here is what I have now:

What are the different DVR based recorders out there (video card /
software). I'm aware of geovision but what else with similar

Just wondering... with Cat5e cable, are there special crimp-on ends?  
Or do the regular RJ45 Cat5 standard crimp-on ends work just fine?

I recently bought an X10 Firecracker kit and wrote a command program in
Visual Basic. Works pretty well. There is one thing I don't understand in
the documentation, however. I downloaded cm17a_protocol.txt from the X10

Has anyone built or seen an integration between iTunes (PC or Mac) and
the Crestron front-end ?  I'd like to use iTunes as the audio server
on the back-end but control the music selection thru the Crestron
1700's and 2000's that I have already installed in the house.
