Anyone have any data on the idle power consumption of X-10 modules (not the load) such as lamp/appliance modules, wall-switches/dimmers, RF transceivers, etc.? I've got ~60 modules. There's 8760 hours in a year, so at 3

I am interested in setting up a very low budget 2 camera dial up web accessed PC monitoring system at an elderly relative's house and saw those $50 ( approx ) generic DVR cards at the big online auctionbay . These are a fraction of the price of those offered by the CCTV
