Digital Cable Wiring Signal Problems (long range)10 Feb 2004 02:42 GMT3
I just finished renovations on my house and ran coax cable to every
room. It was not the top quality that there was in coax, but I didn't
know much before I started about it. I signed up for Digital IO cable
and they ran it to my basement where all the rooms' wires meet. The
Motion Detector question involving zone lighting10 Feb 2004 01:18 GMT8
How do most people monitor a zone in a house.  I would like to have the
lights turn on when I enter my daylight basement.  I would like the lights
to turn on when I'm going down the stairs and turn off when I'm going up the
stairs.
Channel Plus MDS-609 Feb 2004 21:01 GMT7
My brother has an MDS-6 (6 zone audio distribution amplifier) with 6 x MCS-1 zone controllers. The controllers for zones 5 and 6 are
mounted very close together. If I unplug the controller for zone 5, then zone 6 works perfectly; similarly, if I unplug the
controller for zone 6, ...

RS - Duophone Monitor Unit - question07 Feb 2004 12:17 GMT1
I have two of these units that I picked up used.  They basically seem
to work ... in monitoring the temperature, etc.  and I can "call in" and get
the voice synthesizer responding back remotely.  However, the dialing out

Universal Remotes that Support X10 RF06 Feb 2004 13:22 GMT7
Are there any new universal remotes, other than those sold by
X10, which support X10's RF???  The current ones sold by X10
itself seem to be a rather "old" design, in that they don't
even have a "DVD" button.

I've got a customer with a lot of CAT5, Phone, and Cable, all routed to the
basement - not an exact count yet, but 8-10 of each......
Does anyone have any experience with the Leviton "Advance Telephone and
