I am building a new home and need to make a decision whether to
pre-wire for ALC or go with the Compose PLC made available by the home
builder. Anyone that has done both and can give an opinion? I am very
new to home automation.

RS - Duophone Monitor Unit - tone/pulse dialer?26 Jan 2004 18:33 GMT2
Several (many!) years ago Radio Shack sold a Duofone Home Monitor System.
It had 3 separate wired sensor input circuits, a built in temperature
sensor, a built in sound sensor and a phone dialer with voice synthesizer.
I have one of them and have been trying it out.
Apex 6100 Program Mode Code?26 Jan 2004 10:05 GMT1
I have an Apex 6100 that no longer responds to the default 9173
program mode code.
The manual states that 9173 is only a default. Does that mean it can
be changed?  If so, how?  I know the master user PIN number.

Regarding Bills That Should Be Disputed25 Jan 2004 07:42 GMT5
I know of a new site that helps out people who have been overcharged
or who have gotten a bill that they have good reason to think is wrong

pretty useful, especially after reviewing some postings in this group.
