I need to switch some 20Amp circuits, using the 12VDC,
100mA (max.) outputs from a controller.  Does anyone
have any relay suggestions?  Does anyone have experience
using Solid State Relays with High Intensity Discharg (HID)

My C12U device recently became very hot and then failed, and has a
unpleasant smell of something burnt out. Research seems to show this
is not uncommon. So my question is, has anyone else had this problem
and been able to fix it or has the transformer completly gone as well

Ok, what I want to do is take a dpdt latching relay and put it in a
3way/4way light circuit. I know I can make the relay work as a 4 way switch.
I just need to figure out how to control it. The latching relay doesn't need
