| Household outlet, how much power can you get from? | 11 Dec 2003 01:37 GMT | 5 |
The standard household outlet is 120V, but it surprises me that I have a gas powered (powered by a weedwacker motor) snowblower that can move 300 lbs/min. yet I see electric models that can move 700.

Anyone got recommendations on speakers for the bathroom? I'd like to have something that'll withstand the usual steam and moisture found in the bathroom. In-ceiling or in-wall preferrably. I'd like something that could be placed rather close to the shower. This is

I ran a new cat5 cable from the NID (phone box outside) up the siding of the house and into the attick. A friend suggested I install conduit from the NID to where the wire enters the house up under the roof overhang to protect the wire going up.

| Resistor Color Code Drawer Labels | 07 Dec 2003 22:42 GMT | 32 |
I don't have any difficulty remembering the resistor color code. Many people do, however. While working for a company about a dozen years ago I had planned to create some color labels for the resistor drawers in the company proto lab. The lab drawers were a random mess of values, ...

| a silk purse from a sow's ear | 07 Dec 2003 17:22 GMT | 4 |
Well, "sow's ear" is probably a bit harsh but I don't recall seeing any posts about or reviews of the MR26 that were very positive. Most users complain of poor range and limited utility because it only reports standard X-10 RF codes plus those associated with the X-10 (fill in the
