X10 NINJA MODIFICATIONS12 Oct 2003 18:25 GMT9
Does anybody know of any modifications that can be done to the x10
ninja pan&tilt base?  I need to be able to control it with a hardwire
because the remote control only works to 20 feet.

IR to X10 for more than 16 devices12 Oct 2003 15:02 GMT6
I am currently using the 'Infrared X10 Command Console IR-543' to turn my IR
commands into X10 commands. The problem is that  I need to control more then
16 devices (I have used all of the 'A' house code, and the receiver has
rotary type house code selector).
802.11b control?12 Oct 2003 14:16 GMT5
I have a 3Com 802.11b access point in my roof to provide wireless Internet
and local intranet access to my notebooks and hand-held PC.
Has anyone done any type of wireless automation using something like this?
I envisage being able to somehow hook up a (cheapish) 2.4 Ghz receiver ...

Hello! My X10 lights and appliances turn on and of randomly all the time.
Like 3-5 times a day.
I don't know what could be doing it. I don't have the CM11a comp interface

B connector12 Oct 2003 04:28 GMT21
Pretty lame question but I really don't know so I thought I had better ask.
I have never installed wiring with B connectors so I'm at a loss on what
tool to use for crimping the B connectors without damaging it or the wires
within.

Does anyone out there know of a decent list of common X10 Modules and

Thanks for any info.
DSC Security System Home Monitoring10 Oct 2003 15:05 GMT4

state. Once connected the DSC security system will upload its data and
Stereo output feeding mono speakers10 Oct 2003 06:00 GMT1
Apologies if this has been covered before but I have had a search with
Google and haven’t found the answer.  I plan to use my amplifiers ‘B’
speaker output to feed two speakers that will be recessed in the ceiling.
The problem is that the two speakers will be in separate small rooms ...
