I need to purchase a HAI Omni II Keypad and would like to know if one is any better than another. I am currently drawn to the 15A0001 universal LCD Console for the cost, larger scale and ability to surface or flush mount the unit.

I have a couple problemsÂ… I installed a Leviton Phase coupler (SmartHome 4823) per the instructions. Things are no better off than before. I have double checked and moved the breakers that the coupler is attached to around and nothing seems to help.

I have an X10 8 in 1 remote. You can enter any code for at TV or VCR, etc. and all works find. The problem is that it won't "learn" any special codes like it used to. I did try removing the batteries for several weeks and then trying again ... same

Considering the unreliability of the wireless x10 cameras, has anyone converted one to being wired, thus bypassing the wireless transmitter on the camera and deriving the signal from the camera into an RCA jack?

I plan to use ads C80ic speakers throughout my new house for whole-house audio. I am using the rough-in brackets so installation will be easier, but was wondering if I should try and construct some type of backbox or enclosure behind each speaker location?
